Walter E. Hanley, Jr., 82, of Fairfield, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2018. Beloved husband of the late AnnMarie Hanley. Loving father of Walter Hanley III & his wife Maryann, William Hanley & his wife Breda, Suzanne Grund & her husband Thomas, Dana Van Gray & her husband Xavier and the late AnnMarie Hanley. Cherished grandfather of Melissa, Jaclyn, Shannon, Paige, Mary Clare, Nuala, Liam, Kristina & husband Patrick, Michael, Thomas & husband Shawn, Marybeth, Christian, Xavier and Xander. Walter was a CPA, graduate of St. Peter's College and a member of the Fairfield Knights of Columbus. He was a second father to many individuals and our loss is heaven's gain. Funeral Wednesday at 9AM from the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 7 Two Bridges Road, Fairfield. Funeral Mass 10AM St. Thomas More R.C. Church. Entombment Gate of Heaven Chapel Mausoleum. Friends will be received Tuesday 4-8PM.
