William "Archie" Archiello, 64, passed suddenly at his home in Daytona Beach, Florida, on Saturday, April 9, 2022. Archie was born on September 22, 1957, to the late James & Alice Archiello, a longshoreman and homemaker in Bayonne, New Jersey. A lifelong resident of Bayonne until recently, when he decided to enjoy his retirement in Florida. Archie was blessed with a large and loving family. He is survived by his son Billy, who was the absolute light of his life, whom he lived for. He is also survived by his siblings, Louis J. Archiello/Lynn, James Archiello/Donna, Maryann Ammon/Kenny, Diane Ambroz/Todd and Janet Archiello Fiuza/the late Dominick Fiuza. Archie was adored by many nieces and nephews as well as even more great nieces and nephews. Founder & owner of Archie’s Cab Co. & Van Service until his retirement in 2018. Archie’s friends were like family to him and he treated them as such. Archie had such a big heart and enough love to spread it all around, even to people in need that he didn’t know. He will be missed by many and remembered by all. Funeral Thursday 9:45AM from the Caiola-Stellato Funeral Home, 691 Avenue C, Bayonne. Funeral Mass 10:45AM St. Henry R.C. Church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends will be received Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9PM.
