Farina, Maria E. (nee Oubina), 97, of Lyndhurst, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019. Loving daughter of the late Benito Oubina & Josefa Torres. Beloved wife of the late Vicente Farina. Cherished mother of Vicente & his wife Leonor Farina, The late Emilio & his wife Aurelia Farina, Maria & the late Paco Chaves, & Maria Elisa & the late Manolo Fontan. Dear sister-in-law of Rosa Farina. Adored grandmother of Vicente, Emilio, Helen, Elizabeth, Marisa, Monica, Manny, & Miguel, Loving great-grandmother of Kayla, Meilyn, Alexandra, Cristian, Milito, Elisa, Diego, Justin, Sebas, Lucas, Manuel, Nico, & Noah. Born January 13, 1922 in Pontevedra, Spain, Maria moved to the United States in 1972. Maria had a passion for cooking & taking care of her large family. She also found joy in babysitting all of her grandchildren & great-grandchildren. Friends will be received Monday, July 8, 2019, from 4-8PM at the Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Road, Lyndhurst, NJ. Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2019, 10AM at Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Lyndhurst, NJ. Entombment Holy Cross Mausoleum.
