Giancarlo Antonio Hroncich Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Hroncich, Giancarlo Antonio, 69 of Salsibury, North Carolina (formerly of Cliffside Park, New Jersey), passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at his home. Born November 3, 1952 in Montral, Canada, he was the son of the late Caterina Mattesich-Hroncich and Mario Hroncich. Mr. Hroncich was employed by Prentice Hall Publishing Company, Englewood Cliffs New Jersey for 22 years. After moving to Salisbury, he was employed by Lowes. He was a volunteer fire fighter with the Fort Lee Volunteer Fire Department for 37 years. Mr. Hroncich enjoyed model trains, woodworking, photography, gardening, and cooking. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Assunta Z. Peluso; son, Patrizio A. Peluso & wife Dana of Fort Lee,New Jersey; daughter Megan Hroncich of Woodleaf, North Carolina; sisters, Mary Doneman & husband Harry, and Dolores Hroncich all of Moonachie, New Jersey; grandson Nathenial Sarris of Greece; sisters-in-law, Franca Carofalo of Monroe, North Carolina, and Alba Fekete & husband Robert of Oakland, New Jersey; nieces and nephew Harry-John Doneman, Cathy Doneman, and Marina Paris & husband Michael. The family will receive friends and family from 7pm-9pm Thursday, November 18th at the Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home, 1601 Palisade Avenue, Fort Lee for a memorial and celebration of life. Pastor Dominic Appollo will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fort Lee Volunteer Fire Department, Company 4 Scholarship Fund, PO Box 3148, Fort Lee NJ 07024.
