Robert Kenneth Siverson

June 16, 1945 - February 11, 2022

Robert “Jimmy” Siverson, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022, in Toms River, New Jersey at the age of 76. Born in Kearny, New Jersey, he grew up in Lyndhurst and was a jack of all trades. Jimmy worked at Walter Kidde for twenty years, had his own key shop, and later received an Advanced Machining Training Certificate from New Jersey Institute of Technology. He then continued on to work at Howmedica Osteonic for fifteen years before retiring down the Jersey Shore. He loved tinkering around with old cars and going to different car shows. He often enjoyed long walks on the boardwalk and playing with his metal detector in the sand. He was predeceased by his brothers Glen Siverson, Carl Siverson, Kenny Siverson, and stepsons John Heatter, & Paul Heatter. He is survived by and will be greatly missed by his wife Cecelia Siverson, his brother Tony (Debbie) Chimento, his daughters Tara (Mark) Szwagulinski, Amy Siverson, and stepchildren William Heatter, George Heatter, Victoria (Brian) Ashton, Kimberly Heatter, Heidi (Frank) Romano, sixteen grandchildren, great-grandchild Brayden, and extended family of nieces and nephews. They were all lucky to have known him. Jimmy loved his cat Jake and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. The funeral is to be held from Ippolito-Stellato Funeral Home, 425 Ridge Rd. Lyndhurst on Tuesday 9AM with a mass at Sacred Heart R.C. Church 10AM. Family and friends are invited to the visitation on Monday 4-8PM.
